A dream for the collector or enthusiast
The 1940 Buick Special Sport Coupe featured here is finished in its stunning factory correct color combination of Carlsbad Black over a wonderfully preserved Tan Bedford cord interior. This particular example spent the vast majority of its life in California and currently displays only 66, 313 believed to be actual miles! A largely original example, this Buick has undergone some sympathetic paint work and presents with the amount of patina that one would expect from a nearly 80 year old motorcar. It is accompanied by its original owner’s manual, tools, period brochures, California registrations dating back to the mid 1980’s and more! We are proud to offer this wonderful 1940 Buick Special Sport Coupe to the most astute collector, investor or enthusiast who appreciates the particular charm that comes with a pre-war American classic. Ready to make an investment that you can actually enjoy? Classic cars have proven to be among the most resilient and rewarding investments in recent years with the Historic Automobile Group Index (HAGI) jumping 39% in 2013, 16% in 2014 and 17% in 2015 while posting gains of 467% over the last 10 years.
