We are honoured to present a very special low mileage example of the much loved, last of the air cooled, Porsche 993 Carrera Coupe with the must have manual gearbox.
This incredible example has only had 1 previous owner. Porsche Reading registered the car on 1st October 1996, it was then taken to Dick Lovett Swindon and sold to its new owner on the 3rd of October 1996 and has been in their care ever since. This a UK C16 car and benefits from the updated Varioram engine.
Porsche’s VarioRam induction system was designed to improve low to mid-range torque by optimising airflow at different rpms. Introduced on the 993 Carrera RS’s M64/ 20 engine in 1995, the technology was then rolled out onto the standard 993 Carrera range with the introduction of the 1996 M64/ 21 engine.
It looks glorious in Iris Blue with Marble leather and has an impressive set of features including 18" Porsche Sport Classic Alloys, Part Electric Seats, Electric Sliding Sun Roof, Rear Wiper, Air Conditioning and the Exhaust Sound Enhancement Package with Stainless Steel tailpipe finishers.
As you would hope we have both sets of keys, original book pack and service book plus lots of invoices and MOT's from service work carried out. The service book reads with an impressive 17 stamps, 16 of which are Porsche. In the last 10 years this car has only travelled 3, 000 miles!
This 993 has just had a major service at Porsche Brooklands including Spark Plugs, had new Porsche discs and pads fitted all round and 4 new Michelin N rated tyres. The bodywork has a gorgeous shine and in this colour combination it's easy to understand why the 993 is a firm Porsche enthusiast and collector favourite.
