Le Jaguar XK120 sono delle auto belle, eleganti, aggressive e vantano una storia ricca di successi.
La sigla DHC sta per Drop Head Coupé. Questa variante della XK120 venne prodotta tra il 1953 e il 1954, con solo 1. 765 esemplari costruiti.
La versione DHC aveva un design più sofisticato rispetto alla XK120 OTS. Era dotata degli interni lussuosi appartenenti alla RHC, di una capote pieghevole imbottita e foderata, e di finestrini avvolgibili.
Dopo la seconda guerra mondiale, svilupparono il motore X, che stava per eXperimental. Dopo vari tentativi si arrivò alla versione K, un sei cilindri in linea da 3. 442cc e 160 CV, abbinato a un cambio a 4 rapporti, che consentì alle Jaguar XK120 di raggiungere straordinari successi nelle competizioni automobilistiche.
La vettura che proponiamo in vendita ha scocca completamente lattonata, passata con il primer e pronta per essere verniciata.

For sale this 1953 Jaguar XK120 DHC, ideal for an interesting restoration project.
Jaguar XK120s are beautiful, elegant, and aggressive cars with a rich history of success.
The DHC stands for Drop Head Coupé, and this variant of the XK120 was produced between 1953 and 1954, with only 1, 765 units built.
The DHC version had a more sophisticated design compared to the XK120 OTS. It featured luxurious interiors similar to the RHC, a padded and lined folding top, and roll-up windows.
After World War II, they developed the X engine, which stood for eXperimental. After various attempts, the "K" version was finalized, a 3, 442cc inline-six engine producing 160 HP, paired with a 4-speed gearbox. This allowed the Jaguar XK120 to achieve extraordinary success in automotive competitions.
The car we are offering for sale has a fully re-panelled body, primed and ready for painting.
