EXTERIOR
The Chiaretto Red Metallic exterior paint is in fantastic condition and is a credit to its former keeper and only owner since new. The factory glass is present all around the vehicle with the BMW etchings on all of the windows. The car has a factory fresh depth of shine and still retains a beautiful gloss to the lacquer. There is no rust, blemishes or scratches. Likewise, all light lenses and trim retain a fresh appearance.
INTERIOR
The Beige Leather is in fabulous condition throughout, with no wear to be found. The carpet, trim, switches are as new. The seat bolsters are also completely unworn and are free from any scuffs or sagging. The dashboard and centre console are also in equally fine condition, with no cracks or sun damage to be found.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
This E39 is powered by the BMW 2. 9-litre six-cylinder diesel unit, mated to the five-speed automatic gearbox. This results in a powerful drivetrain and this car is no exception. It performs perfectly and the car drives beautifully. Kick down works seamlessly when needed, and there is plenty of torque making light work of the operation in hand. The engine bay is completely original and has a fresh appearance throughout.
WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The 16-inch alloy wheels are in wonderful condition and are shod in a set of new Continental tyres.
HISTORY
This E39 530d was first registered in November 2001 and has a complete BMW service history. The car comes with the original service book that is all stamped up, including a full service earlier this year at BMW. This car has therefore been maintained properly, and this is evident in person. This car is ready to be enjoyed on our roads.
