This is our 1991 Land Rover Defender 110 which we've loved owning and driving since May 2022, sadly a change in personal circumstances means we can not justify keeping.

The private registration H4 KRO “Black Crow” is included with the sale.

The Land Rover drives very well and pulls strongly with only a little smoke under heavy load.

A great deal of money and effort has been put into this Land Rover on extensive restoration work and upgrades to bring the vehicle into the 21st century.

The Land Rover looks stunning and is in superb condition but at 30 years old does have some patina`and minor imperfections.

The Land Rover has undergone a striking full black respray from the original military green and benefits from numerous facelifted components including TD5 bonnet and grill, wide wheel arches, bumper rails, tree huggers, chequer plate wing tops and rear wings.

The original steel wheels have been replaced by metallic grey deep dish Defender alloy wheels with wheel spacers fitted. An original steel spare wheel is also included.

It also benefits from a full 'Halo' LED light conversion, including headlights, sidelights, indicators and rear lights. The Land Rover original headlights will also be included with the sale.

The standard Land Rover door hinges have been upgraded with SC Engineering components, the door seals replaced and wind deflectors fitted.

The Land Rover original steering wheel has been replaced with an Ottermill anti-theft steering wheel boss and lockable cover, complemented by a MoMo quick release steering wheel. The original steering wheel will also be included in the sale.

This is an ex military Land Rover originally manufactured in 1991 before being registered for the road in 2003, assigned registration 'H620 RSX'.

We bought Land Rover privately in May 2022 and are the 6th owner.

The 4th owner acquired the vehicle in 2006 and thereafter undertook extensive restoration work, all carried out by Land Rover specialists. Since then the Land Rover has a comprehensive service history and has been diligently maintained, with invoices present for all work carried out.

In 2012 (at Mileage approx 117, 715 Km / ~73, 144 Miles) a reconditioned Discovery 200Tdi engine was fitted with mileage 71, 688. At this point the timing belt, pulleys, tensioner, water pump and auxiliary belts were replaced, along with a new radiator and exhaust conversion. A reconditioned LT77 gearbox with a higher ratio transfer box was also fitted. After this work was completed the odometer readout was changed from military specification Kms to Miles with reading of 47, 500 Miles. Invoices from Cooper Auto Services for this and other significant recent work are pictured.

The Land Rover was fully Serviced 18/ 05/ 2022 and has an MOT valid until 01/ 06/ 2023.

A full galvanized steel removable roof cage and ladder are fitted, along with powder coated rear step and tow bar. As an ex military vehicle the Land Rover features side storage lockers.

Powder coated door edge plates and a galvanized steel bull bumper with space for winch will be included with the sale, these would need fitting by the new owner.

The interior has undergone a mild camper conversion, with sound deadening and insulation front and rear. The rear has been ply lined and carpeted throughout, with a removable false floor giving a comfortable sleeping platform or cargo area, and storage underneath.

An additional leisure battery has been fitted to power rear interior LED lighting and USB charger ports, charge topped up from the main battery when driving.

There's an additional rear passenger side window bringing additional light into the rear sleeping/ cargo area, which along with the rear quarter windows is tinted black. 'MUD' insulated/ blackout window blinds for all other windows are included, along with a suspended rear cargo net.

An upgraded Pioneer DAB radio (and exterior DAB aerial) with Bluetooth phone connectivity has been fitted with 4x additional rear and 2x front Pioneer speakers.

A full 'Backroadz' 5 man SUV tent/ awning is included that attaches to the rear of the vehicle.

Front seat covers are fitted and Land Rover branded rubber floor mats.

The front passenger footwell features an 175 amp Anderson connection, making connection of the provided jump leads to the Land Rover's battery more convenient.

The rear differential was replaced and new genuine Land Rover wiper motors fitted earlier this year, with the timing belt and water pump replaced in 2018.

In 2017 the vehicle underwent extensive metal work repair and replacement including the rear crossmember and bulkhead, toe boxes and floors, all with aluminum or galvanized steel components. In the same year a new alloy intercooler was fitted with silicone hoses, new fuel tank, front discs and pads, and new radiator. The previous year, in 2016 uprated Bearmach springs and shocks (lifted) were fitted.

The chassis and subframe are in excellent condition with not rot and the underside of the vehicle has recently been protected with an annual treatment of WaxOyl rust prevention coating.
