1995 Honda Legend Coupe with the revised lowered suspension and 16 inch Alloys as per last factory spec cars offically imported into the UK 94-95. I have owned the car since 2007 but I am selling because of health issues as well as losing my storage space. Although not perfect with rust bubbles on the drivers side rear arch and minor damage to the rear bumper, the car is in good condition for a 27 year old. (see pics). Solid underneath and with a very well preserved interior the car has always been hand washed while in my tenure. All electrics function from the seats to the soft close doors and motorised belts to the climate control (though that could do with a re-gas). The interior is free of rips or tears on the leather or door panels as is the dashboard and wood inlays (yes it is real Walnut). The rear spare wheel well is free of corrosion underlying it's solidity. There is a small area of rust in the rear drainage channel. (see pics).
The water pump seal has given out so the water pump needs to be changed but the car starts and drives through all gears and there are no knocks or flabbiness in the chassis as it goes down the road. The car is fitted with both a cassette player and 6 disc boot mounted auto changer which both work but the driver front speaker needs replacing. The ABS light is on but SRS and oil pressure light go out instantly.
Aside from the water pump the engine is very sound without start-up smoke or rattles. It is responsive from the lightest pressure on the throttle to vigorous acceleration.
I would honestly describe this car as a relatively light restoration, and having restored Jensens and Jaguars and about 15 other cars including a Lamborghini as well as having an engineering background I know a little of what I speak. This car is on a SORN. It will be sorely missed.
