1984 Classic Mercedes 300d W123 Saloon. LHD. Grey with blue cloth upholstery. Sunroof. In lovely unrestored original condition. MOT until February 2024 with no advisories.
Bodywork: Original paintwork with one small rust spot on the rear of the nearside wheel arch. Small ding to the rear bumper. These minor imperfections do not detract from the very, very good overall condition of the bodywork.
Interior: Blue cloth upholstery in excellent and spotlessly clean condition. No rips or tears and minimal signs of wear apart from a small part of the driver's seat squab, which is barely noticeable.
Mechanics: Very sound. The engine starts instantly and the powerful 3 litre engine pulls strongly through the 5-speed manual gearbox which changes smoothly and cleanly.
Underside: Very solid with recent repair to the offside front floor pan.
UK-registered cars and motorbikes on Car & Classic are run through an online HPI check. On the HPI report, this vehicle shows no insurance database markers for damage or theft and has no finance owing. One family ownership (father and daughter). Vehicle was originally a personal import from Germany when new and used for business travel in Europe and Scandinavia. On retirement the vehicle was used locally and subsequently kept under a cover in a heated garage and used sparingly.
