A very rare 23000 mile Rover SD3 and the only reason I’m selling this, and another Rover I own, is due to the need to free up storage space. The car is in great condition for its age and has recently received a clean MOT. The car runs as smoothly as it did in 1989 and the interior is in excellent condition, everything working as it should. The car has been exhibited on the Rover 200 400 club stand at the NEC classic car show (where I purchased it) and its history is summarised on the plaque from that show in the photos. It has a small amount of surface rust by the front driver’s door (pictured) which has not changed since I purchased the car but I have never got around to getting it done but is otherwise solid, with required welding and metal replacement done last year around the jacking points and the drivers footwell. You will not find a more original and reliable Rover anywhere (and there are very few of these Rover SD3’s left!)
UK-registered cars and motorbikes on Car & Classic are run through an online HPI check. On the HPI report, this vehicle shows no insurance database markers for damage or theft and has no finance owing.
