This Rover 214 SEi 1995 5 speed manual.
Finished in brilliant Nightfire Red metallic and Grey.
I've not seen better than this Rover other than when I've seen very rare concours cars. With very little work this car could qualify as a concours car.
I purchased to show this as had a Rover 213 and 214 as company cars back in 1993-1996. When I first viewed this car I wanted to rekindle my acquantance, but also own a 1994 Merc SL280, so can't keep this car as simply don't have storage/ garaging space. The Rover therefore needs to go to someone who will use her and ideally show her.
Genuine mileage only 52, 801 - backed up by service records and MOT history.
It's has also only had the 3 owners from new.
Service history stamped service book up to Feb 2015 @ 50, 075 when the timing belt kit fitted.
Original owners manuals in wallet with original sale record and subsequent 2nd keeper purchase record.
Previous owner to me was an elderly gentleman who owned the car from March 2002 and clearly kept car garaged and very well maintained.
A few very minor imperfections to the grey, but the car is virtually rust free - hard to believe considering age, but proves it's been garaged and very well maintained.
Underneath is seriously clean. Sils, doors, bonnet and tailgate are amazing. No rust which is a common thing on Rovers like this.
Alloys and set of Avon tyres are in excellent condition. Spare is full alloy. The wheel brace is still covered in orginal packaging and has never seen the light of day! Spare alloy is also great.
The Interior really is totally immaculate.
The part leather sports seats have no wear or damaged at all.
The dash is perfect.
Carpets & headlining are also perfect.
The electric sunroof & Electric front windows work perfectly.
The sliding louvre on the sunroof is perfect.
Manually adjustable wing mirror are perfect.
Comes with the original Rover stereo, and fitted with modern CD/ Aux head unit.
I have just purchased (12 March) new Excide Premium battery to replace that shown in photos which was not holding charge well.
Very long MOT expiring 24th Jan 2024.
This is an appreciating modern classic car so is a very sound investment.
Needs to be seen to be appreciated.
The engine is perfect and sounds spot on. Also one of the cleanest most original engine bays I've ever seen with no rust or sign of corrosion anywhere.
You won't find better Rover 214 SEi anywhere at this price. The only thing you might want to consider doing is what was the only advisory from MOT in January, since when it has been driven 100 miles. This was: Offside Play in steering rack inner joint(s)
Other than that nothing needs to be done.
I have 115 photos which I can share with any prospective buyer. This includes copies of service book, manuals, original and 2nd bill of sale.
I will also provide the full car report I conducted in Nov 22 when I purchased. This showed zero issues of course.
You need to see this car to appreciate it.

She is stunning and very much an appreciating modern classic.
