Early GSX1100 1979
Found in a garden shed in 2016 in a very sorry state.
Has now undergone a complete nut and bolt restoration.
Engine vapour blasted and rebuilt to include new engine seals, cam chain, APE valve springs, new piston rings( cylinder bore was well in tolerance but rings needed replacing), carbs ultra sonic cleaned and bench set up.
Frame powder coated and chassis parts restored.
Complete respray.
Wire loom rebuilt with new connectors throughout.
All chrome parts have been re-plated.
Brakes refurbed with new Hell braided lines
Wheels polished and refurbed with new Bridgstone tyres.
Forks rebuilt, new seals.
New rear shocks.
Seat base solid painted and new seat cover fitted.
New Motad 4 into 1 exhaust.
Tick over is a little erratic and would benefit from being set up on a dyne as the carbs have been set up on the bench.
Bike is as new condition and very standard except for the exhaust, i have a standard exhaust that is include in the sale but the silencers are holed and the chrome is faded.
I can not guarantee the milage 4772 as there was no additional history when the bike was found, no reason to believe its not original milage though. ( on std bore with no ware to cylinders)
V5 is present and in my name, shows bike was originally registered overseas and was uk first registered in 1993.
