Only 2 owners, previous owner ordered new in late 1987 with delivery to its first and only owner on 1 January 1988. It was ordered by the director of an automobile spares business for his wife.
Exterior
The Alpine White paintwork is the factory original paint which is in good condition.
There are a few minor blemishes which have been touched up including a mark on the B pillar where the seatbelt appears to have been closed in the door, a couple of marks on the leading edge of the bonnet and a small area under the passenger’s door handle.
Just undergone professional detailing + polish.
Interior
The interior is in excellent condition with the seats and headlining having been retrimmed at some point.
The car still bears it original VW rubber mats and underneath, the carpets are in excellent condition.
There are no cracks in the dashboard and the rear parcel shelf is in perfect original condition.
Brand new period Blaupunkt Bremen SQR Bluetooth DAB + Hands free head unit, along with new front x2 dash and stealth shelf x2 speakers.
Mechanicals
The 1. 8 engine starts every time. I have been using this car daily for the past 18 months and this has not failed me once. Recent full ‘carte blanche’ service completed with no expense spared;
