A reluctant sale due solely to advancing years and health problems, this great Healey is in excellent condition all round, absolutely solid and rust-free. You will have to look hard to find flaws. Numbers matching, excellent paintwork and chrome, and great interior trim. I have just had fitted a brand new set of (5) chrome wire wheels, spinners and Semperit tyres, they have covered just 5 miles back from the garage. The spare set of silver wires and spinners, all good and with excellent tyres, are included. My intention was to use these for normal road use and the chromes for the occasional classic show or event. Also included are a number of other spares, including the original steering wheel, I only fitted a woodrim wheel to give more knee room for getting in and out. There is even a good spare bonnet which I was going to have louvred for the sporty look.
Fully maintained throughout my ownership by my local classic specialist, in the last few weeks alone they have fitted new window winder mechanisms, and front brake calipers.
Over the decades I have owned a number of big Healeys, this one is, by a country mile, the best driver and the best looker I have owned and is absolutely perfect for classic rallies and tours.

I had known this car for a number of years before buying, the previous owner being a friend of mine in San Diego. When he eventually agreed to sell to me I ran it for a while in the US, then shipped it back to UK in 2019, sending it straight to Murray Scott-Nelsons for rhd changeover and a general overhaul. They did a superb job, and when returning the car told me that it was the most utterly rust-free Healey they had seen in decades. Since then I have kept it in a heated garage and never been out in the rain.
