AUSTIN A40 FARINA RALLY CAR 1966. FULLY RESTORED OVER PAST 5 YEARS. Only used to attend classic cars shows since including the classic car show at NEC
Resprayed, including engine bay 1293cc stage 3 Skiptune engine, 4000 miles, straight cut midget gearbox 4000 miles.
3. 7 diff plus 4. 2 diff, new reconditioned standard gearbox, sump and tank guards. Dual circuit brakes Servo rear bias valve removable roof light rear cage full rally instruments uprated front seats 2 lever arch files of history.

Reason for sale I have a hillclimb A40 and midget so I'm not using it.
- details above restored A40 rally I had been looking for the right car for 10 years then I found HRX 390D and totally rebuilt it, everything on the car has only done 4000 plus miles.
Not used as rally car since 1980s, used for classic car shows we travel up to a 100 miles each way in car with no problems always keeps cool will cruise at 70 mph all day and just pull out to pass other cars with ease.
Always attracts lots of attention at every shows it is a great drivers car it pulls from 1500 to 6000 rpm in top gear I always enjoy taking it out.
Only selling as I have another hillclimb A40 and mg midget so I need to move HRX- details above 390D on.
