Just recently imported classic 50s fins n chrome beast.
Attended a weekend of car gathering in Staffs (july 23). As if to prove credibility of this lovely drivers car, out of a field of hundreds it was picked in the top 7 for best car and came home with Highly Commended when being judged against 6 other beautiful clean and polished examples. (pic no. 2)

Its the end of the year and ive got a few things could do with sorting before next year so this is a low as the price goes. Im now making a loss on what this cost me to get to the UK less than 6 months ago but If it hasnt sold by the end of the year ill readvertise at appropriate price again at the start of the next 'show season'
Absolutely lovely looking car with lots of (documented) monies spent on engine and maintenance. I believe the engine has come as close to a rebuild without it being a nut n bolt resto
Ive had chance to look over the vehicle and pretty much everything works as it should. It starts excellent with a strong engine and lovely sound thru the (new) twin exhaust system. Solid body, and clean brightwork.
Its a beautiful looking (and driving) cruiser with a 'used' interior that could do with tidying up, altho this does not detract from the overall feel and presence of the car. Its a three on the tree manual which shifts smoothly thru the gears.
Brakes have been serviced (as can be seen in the original ad pic) along with gas tank, E brake and others.
Its an excellent platform to start a rolling driveable restoration or just continue to drive and enjoy as it is.
It needs nothing as far as i can work out but a little TLC would elevate this car to its deserved status.
Comes with a file of receipts from the US as well as original replaced parts (in the trunk) and my Blood sweat and tears that its taken to get it over to the UK

NOTE:
Since placing this ad the car has now had the safety inspection/'soft' MOT (MOT but without registration).
There are a few minor expected niggles but nothing major. (The inspector mentioning that he was only bringing to attention a few of the issues because i was still paying full MOT costs but without the ticket)
Brake pipe rust; number plate bulb; a minor amount of undercar rust but no major holes rot or issues.
Its now fully road legal and registered after DVLA inspection and has had its first few trips out already.
Price is firm and i dont accept random offers or lowballs without initial contact. Any genuine interest will contact me first and we can go from there. NO interest in exchanges. As stated in the description, it was bought when my circumstances were slightly different with the full intention of driving and owning this beauty for the next few years
It was being driven semi regularly in the US before import so it is known to be both reliable and solid.
1950s two door hardtop coupes are getting harder and harder to find, and at this price it will only increase or at the very least, if you do Nothing, hold its value.
Smells and feels 50s with a look that will never again be repeated.
