What a unicorn car. This is a Vauxhall Meriva VXR with the 1. 6 turbo engine as seen in the Corsa VXR so she goes very well and can certainly handle the twistys with its tuned and sharpened chassis.
I’ve done a thorough road test on this one and covered a near 600 mile round trip to ensure it’s in good shape. The Meriva VXR was an odd ball at the time so they never really sold... now to find them in this sort of condition and mileage must be a challenge.
This Meriva is in a rather under the radar metallic black with recently refurbed silver wheels. The car also has a few creature comforts such as cruise and heated seats. The original radio is also present for the people that like originality.
This Meriva has a strong service history, recent cambelt change, good mileage of 64k, recent service, MOT till October, 4x recent mid-range tyres, recent front discs and pads and recent inspection. The rarity of these must mean that these will surely become collectible amongst the performance Vauxhall enthusiasts.
