I'm selling my much loved VW Type 2 camper.
I bought the Van from a couple of VW enthusiasts in 2007 to make my annual pilgrimage to the Glastonbury Festival. She's been to the Festival making the 200 mile each way journey without a problem every year since. We ve also been to Reading Festival with her as well as the odd camping jaunt.
She has a full MOT with no advisories and has been maintained by Steve at Anderton MOT. She had a replacement engine about 5000 miles ago.
She is dry stored every winter and when not in use.
I replaced the poor front seats with two high backed seats from a Subaru WRC. There are seat belts on the rear bench seat.
The odometer shows 22500 miles but that should not be relied upon although I have only done 1000 miles per year since I bought her.
She's reliable and turns heads bringing a smile to everyone's face. She's a great camping vehicle with a comfortable rock n roll bed, leisure battery, cooker, sink and fridge that works off mains and 12 v.
There is an electric hook up and decent radio / CD.
The pop up roof has two hammocks for tiny tots.
The tail gate has a bike rack.
She is by no means a polished vehicle and will need some work for example around the roof gutter at the rear and the fuel gauge has always been sporadic but after all she is nearly 50!
My Glasto days are over and it's time for someone else to have some fun.
She is ready to go camping now and be enjoyed this year.
