1966 AJS 250 CSR: Cracking little bike - loads spent!
A super example of the AJS’s Lightweight, which has been previously restored and remains in excellent all-round condition and running and riding very well indeed.
She is a lovely easy starting bike; going first or second kick and benefits from a recent new battery and is fitted with a Concentric carb for ease of starting and quickly settles down to a nice idle. She rides well and sounds just superb through her new silencer with a lovely throaty bark on the road and the bike has an easy gear-change and goes (and stops) very well.
She has two good had tyres, and has previously been fitted with Dunlop wheels, new rear shocks, control levers, rubbers and much more and is a perfect starter classic, as well as for those wishing to step down from a larger British bike.
