TVR S3 pre cat. Registered 1 Aug 1991
A late, pre-cat, 2. 9 V6 S3. Mine since February 2015, with the previous owner keeping the car for 15 years. 5 former keepers.
MOT until October 2023
Loads of receipts with lots spent, including reconditioned engine and gearbox rebuild only 1000 miles ago. Engine rebuild consisted of brand new uprated cam, new timing gear, water pump and full gasket set. Also fitted with a brand new clutch and recent slave cylinder. Brand new injector wiring loom and idle speed control valve fitted too as well as a radiator re-core.
Recent receipts for c.£5, 000.
It’s also had 4 brand news tyres and a new coil fitted in my ownership.
The car has had a brand new chassis some years ago (previous owner and still in perfect condition) and new speedo in its life (again previous owner and original (broken) one still with the car) hence current mileage showing 7974 (I bought it at around 600 miles).
Impeccable MOT history for the last 15 years without a single advisory. Some service history with a box full of paperwork.
Upgrades include full stainless steel exhaust from manifolds back (it sounds lovely), Griff 500 callipers with drilled and grooved discs, stainless steel sill kick plates and alloy roof stays.
Paintwork and interior are good, but it has the usual age related marks and stone chips to the body. Rare, no ashtray, door cards. Hood is in good condition and includes covers for storage in the boot. Good chrome having previously had a brand new fuel filler cap fitted.
Car also comes with a box of odds and sods including radio (not fitted, but it has got an electric aerial) MX5 mirrors (didn’t get round to fitting them) and other bits.
Well known in the local TVR Car Club. Lots of pictures and videos available.
A much loved and well cared for car with no expense spared during my ownership with premium oil and filters used at every annual oil change and always ran on premium unleaded.
A very reluctant sale, but it’s just not getting used and it’s too good to sit around. Ready to be enjoyed.
