Bentley T1 Flared Arch Model in Peacock Blue with parchment leather, The first owner was chairman of ICI where it covered most of its mileage, then a family friend owned it for a short period when my father bought it in 1979. Under my father’s ownership it didn’t go very far usually for M. O. T each year and was parked in a heated garage the rest of the time. It got handed down to me in 2004 at which time I decided to bring the old girl up to concourse condition replacing chrome bumpers the chrome shroud on the grill all the stainless was polished, it had a full re spray and hand painted coach lines as original. It went to S. C Gordon in Luton where the interior was re trimmed the wood was stripped and re lacquered, new carpets, headlining, Newtop roll 4 new tyres and a stainless exhaust system. Stacks of paperwork all the Mot’s maintained at Bentley and Bentley specialist. The works cost in excess of £70, 000
This car has so much sentimental value but reluctantly I have to let her go now
