Description

Here we have my beautiful Yamaha AT1-C (electric start model), imported from USA, you won't find another this good.
Full nut and bolt restoration completed by myself a few months ago.
I have a number of Yamahas from this period and this is the best of the bunch.
Bike wants for nothing.
Starts, runs and rides exactly as it should, I’ve done over 600 miles in the last few month on it and it rides great.
Engine is on original bore so very possible the mileage is correct. Handlebars and indicators are original and in very good condition. All chrome is in very good condition.
Yamaha tool kit present but is not original to this bike although very close to being correct.
Here’s the list of what was done:
Fully stripped, frame, swingarm, airbox, toolbox, footrest, stand, brake pedal powder coated.
Fuel tank, oil tank headlight bucket and headlight ears painted in a fantastic colour match to a very high standard with 2 part 2K paint and 2K clear coat.
All silver paintwork also painted in 2 part 2K paint and 2K clear coat to a very high standard.
Nuts bolts and fasteners professionally zinc platted.
Forks re-chromed and ground.
Wheels rebuilt with new Takasago rims and genuine Yamaha spokes.
New tyres, tubes, and wheel bearings.
Cylinder measured, honed and running origin piston (also checked for size.
Cylinder and head vapour blasted and re-painted.
New cable set, air filter and tank strap from KDI Reproductions in USA.
Forks rebuilt with new oil and seals.
Electric start armature cleaned and brushes checked, bike starts easily on electric start or kickstart.
New seat cover.
New battery.
New (nos) original Yamaha headlight.
New high quality replica tank badges in the original style (unobtainable at the moment).
New clutch friction plates.
Exhaust cleaned and re-painted.
Oil pump fully operational and checked for correct output.
UK registered with V5 in my name.
This bike is absolutely stunning, the photos don’t do it justice.
With being close to original parts throughout, this bike really is a rare thing and gets a great amount of interest wherever I take it.
Not in any rush to sell and very happy to keep the bike and take it to a few more shows and bike meets, just thought I’d offer it up as I have an eye on the next project and could do with the space.
