Service history present and in order.
CURRENT STATUS: Car is out of its winter storage since last week and is being used. It has had a full service / fluid flush / MOT in mid February
I enjoy rebuilding cars and have done many in the past and this car was on my list of cars to own but as with all old cars, finding a good one that wasn't messed with, undersealed, welded, was quite the task. All the mechanical work was done by two mechanics that I use for all my cars and that I trust.
Most of all the work done was preventative work which might seem excessive to some but thats the way I like to do it and I don't like being caught out by stupid things when enjoying the car. When I finish a car, I will enjoy it for a while, lots of test miles and then I get the itch to do a new project, however this one I have kept for 2 years now and in no rush to sell.
2016 - 2021 previous owner history:
Brought out of storage (UK car but stored in Amsterdam for 14 years)
oil sump removed, cleaned and resealed.
Brake fluid and Master cylinder changed
Engine Oil flushed and refilled.
NEW Camshaft Variator (common failure on OEM part, preventative)

Wheels and Tyres:
I have the Original Speedline 16" Sport Pack alloys are near perfect, two have small marks on them on edge.
Fitted are NON replica 17" Fontmetal 9Evo alloys on Nankang NS2 tyres. Alloys are Flawless and Tyres are near new. Fontmetal are an Italian company owned by the same family since 1972 and are actually made in Italy. Both set of wheels will come with the car. I will not sell OEM wheels separately.
I cant add anymore text on this add. I have a FULL description on request. NOTHING is not renewed on this car. Car is corrosion free, no nasty underseal / welding / cover ups. Serious buyers only. Car is in Hove or in storage in Coolham. Fuel System:
Plastic Fuel tank was removed, cleaned inside and out (as actually fine inside but while in Rome)
New Bosch Fuel pump (while in Rome)
Refurbished tank mounts and straps (these love to rust straight out of the factory)
Sport pack interior in mid-grey Alfa-tec style cloth with Red piping. In near flawless condition, no rip, tears, stains or major wear. ALL the plastics are in top condition, as is the dash, headliner, sunroof panel, door cards etc etc. Carpet is unmarked and unstained:
New Richbrook floor matts front and rear
New MOMO Steering wheel and MOMO adaptor (Protipo)
New MOMO gear knob (NERO) all OEM parts with car.
Sunroof works as it should and drains were cleaned and no rust anywhere. Its tinted glass with a pull over cover.
ALL interior switches, handles, parts work as they should, no faults, nothing broken. Heat blower was removed, cleaned out and blown out (lots of debris from over the years)
Blower works as it should but typical 90's anaemic. No Aircon.
The Driver side manual mirror joystick works but seems to lack full movement of glass.
A lot of of interior areas have been re-insulated to get the interior noises down. Doors were re-adjusted on the latches to quiet down noise over bumps.
Stereo system:
I like top end systems without being obvious about it..
Pioneer BT Head-unit (top end unit)
Pioneer GM-D1004 4 Channel amp (hidden behind Stereo)
Helix 6. 5' component speaker system (Rear)
HELIX S 42C 4" 70w RMS Component (front)
Pioneer TS-WX010A Under Seat Subwoofer Amplifier (under driver seat)
This equates to an awesome sounding system all around. Helix speakersare the top end brand from Audio Fisher in Germany. I have not installed the tweetersbecause the from 4" have a full range even though they are component speakers, amazing sound.
Will include are original boxes, tweeters, crossovers and unused bits.
The windscreen has two long marks following from the old refill Alfa wipers. Not in driver or Passenger view though. Insurance claim yourself a new on for free (glass will be manufactured by Pilkington and are available at all windscreen companies) Wiper arms changed to NEW Volvo 440 ones with Rainsport2 blades
Exterior:
Car has had quite a bit of work done to improve the paint, trim etc..
Dent removal - did an amazing job at removing small dinks around the car. Found two more though but hard to spot.
Car was given to VRS Detailing in Brighton for 2 stage paint restoration - and CarPro ceramic coating . He did a good job but as always with detailers, they seem to get tired or rushed so could have done more. Saying that Im extremely fussy and annoyingly picky. Car looks Awesome and its had paint here and there but anyone who knows Rosso Red, knows it fades, peels etc.. and fade it has but no peel and its like glass.
Trim re-coloured
New front grille as old one was cracked (spare grille as well in great used condition)
New Badge covers
New belt line window to door seals as they like to corrode under the rubbery coating.
New Volvo 440 Wiper arms with Michilen RainSport 2 Wipers - OEM wipers suck and they only offer refill blades hence this known upgrade was done.
Scuttle (lower windscreen cover) refurbished including all other plastic trim including removal of windscreen trim.
ALL outer trim, door seals, window seal etc etc are like New.
Windows all tinted to %35 incl front doors. You can alway take it off but beware, no Aircon.
Roof Panel is wrapped in 3M glacier white to break up the red on red on red.
Sill covers were all removed, refinished, new fittings, and sills are FLAWLESS. No rust, no marks, nothing. Slight crushing of sill seam was pulled out and refinished.
