1998 R Toyota MR2 GT T-Bar Revision 4 (registered 31 March 98). UK car. 5 owners. Black. 94k miles. Full unmarked leather interior. Brand new MOT until September 2024. Full service history, part Toyota, part independent, part MR2 Hampshire based specialist. NI reg will come with car. Original R161 *** number plate with car and forms part of its providence (no longer in use however). Previous owners based in NI and York and maintained car meticulously. The brakes are immaculate and operating fully free; Recent front brake caliper piston replacement kit fitted (no binding and no heat build up on longer journeys), kit from Big Redd. New rear calipers, hand brakee cable and fluid replacement 05/ 09/ 23 (pics of new rear calipers provided). 100% OEM car, no modifications or upgrades. No rust or rot. No leaks from T-bar roof. Car in full working order with no mechanical issues. Starts first time and drives like new - engine strong and pulls the same as my first Rev 3 95 GT T-Bar owned in 2002. Bodywork in standout condition all over. Leather interior in very good condition with no rips, tears and solid seat bolsters. This is my 3rd MR2 (Rev3 UK T-Bar and Rev4 10th Anniversary previously), I am an experienced and knowledgeable enthusiast of MKII MR2s and this car has been immaculately maintained and cared for throughout it's life, as shown by its large file of paperwork and fully documented service history. Comes with fitted weatherproof cover, under which the car is always stored. If you are looking for an unmodified, very clean, rust free, cherished and original SW20 MR2 UK T-Bar you will struggle to find one better than this. I looked for this level of UK MR2 for over a year, and the car is now even better than when I bought it. It's comfortably one of the best UK T-Bars on the market due the the increasing rarity of clean, straight and rust free examples of this MKII SW20 MR2 - confirmed by the very low numbers of completely original and vgc examples at the 2023 MR2 national meet where they were in the minority amongst a couple of hundred of the last remaining MKIIs, many modified.
