Here for sale is a very handsome BMW 530i with the later N52 engine. This must be one of the first 5 series to have received the N52. After a quick look on auto trader I could not find an 05 plate example.
The E60 5 series is seriously under rated. The ride comfort is sublime, performance is more than adequate with a 0-60 time of circa 6 seconds and its alu construction was advanced for the time making for a very balanced motorway cruiser.
This is a one owner example E60 with only 48k miles showing on the clock! She was owned by a London based professor that used it to ferry the family down to his second home in Devon. Due to this, service history alternates between Park lane BMW and a local independent in Devon.
The spec on this car is lovely too. Understated on the exterior and plush on the interior. Just how a business man’s express should be. The car features a sunroof, Xenon adaptive lights, interior lighting package, Titan grey paint work over Dakota beige leather with fine wood trims, auto dip mirrors, memory electric seats, sat nav, phone prep kit, 6 CD changer, dual zone climate (always looks good to have the more premium HVAC knobs), Sat Nav, the silkiest auto gearbox I have ever felt and hydro steering.
The car has just been treated to a full major service including spark plugs, oil and filter, micro filter, air filter.

All works carried out by my local BMW specialist and now she’s good to go.
The car is shod in Bridgestone tyres all round and overall drives like a dream.
Bodywork wise, of course the odd mark is present here and there. Let’s not forget she is an 18 year old car. The main blemish is the dent on the boot lid feature line. Wheels are generally in good condition but have the odd mark as they are in their original finish. Headlights are in good condition (prone to fading)
Interior is in excellent condition and the Idrive shows no faults in the system.
