BMW 5 Series E39 530i manual M OEM pack
An enthusiast’s vehicle for enthusiasts!
I am the 2nd owner (since January 2019), registered in January 2002.
Sale for another project.
Very rare model in this fully original configuration: 530i M Sport pack with manual gearbox.
Ethanol / Unleaded 98 fuel compatible.
A true little M5 with more reliability and much lower maintenance costs!
Stamped service history (book + invoices) and the car is in very good condition (always sheltered), non-smoker.
Very well-equipped with original options (electric heated seats, rear sunshade, HiFi S676A, auto-fold mirrors, sunroof…).
Two keys available + key wallet.
MOT (CT) valid until April 2025 (except headlight adjusters and front suspension wishbones which have been replaced); the MOT will be renewed for sale.
Clutch is original and will be replaced before sale.
195, 500 km with little further evolution.
Improvements:
- OEM M5 wheels and Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres (front new / rear ~6, 000 km).
- Stainless steel manifold and 400-cell catalytic converters (steel Schmiedmann) and Eisenmann stainless steel exhaust (original exhaust available); the sound is magnificent.
- Direct Racing Dynamics intake (original air box available).
- Ethanol performance remap giving much more flexibility and fills between €50 and €60 (70 litre tank).
- Android head unit very close in appearance to original (original Business CD head unit available - 6-CD changer in boot).
Main maintenance (mostly OEM parts):
- At purchase 156k km – spark plugs, boot struts, front brakes (discs, pads, flex hoses, brake fluid), front and rear bearings, engine oil, gearbox and differential oils.
- June 2019 – 162k km – valve cover gasket (BMW), headlights and fog lights (Hella) for aesthetics.
- August 2019 – 165k km – engine oil + petrol filter, water pump, thermostat, belts and pulleys, camshaft sensor.
- January 2021 – 178k km – green-tinted windscreen band, windscreen surround, wiper linkage and windscreen pillars, grille surrounds.
- May 2022 – 186k km – engine mounts, gearbox mount bushing, front wishbones, engine oil, gearbox and differential oils.
- November 2022 – 189k km – NGK spark plugs.
- February 2025 – 194k km – engine oil, intake hoses.
