This LAND Rover has had a full nut & bolt restoration from the ground up. With the body having a sympathetic resto and FULL off chassis respray in and out in MID GREY. The re-build including a New galvanized bulkhead. All new (3) doors and door tops with the original glass refitted into the new doors. With a restored dashboard top and bottom. New furniture through out with the addition of a centre console and twin drink holder. The engine has been re-manufactured by turner engineering and the gearbox re-build by R Whitehouse & sons, including a newly restored Fairey Overdrive at a dost of £6000. The chassis is also Galvanized but prime and painted black for preferred aesthetics. Everything is New except for the original galvanized chassis, body panels and seat box, all footwells and floors are new including the re-built rear tub. New poly bushes springs and shocks and a stronger horn with the addition of all daytime running lights within the new lamps, all new lights fitted. New correct size tyres and freewheeling hubs and with that overdrive (5th gear) to save some fuel getting to the beach. At a cost of £28, 000 just in parts alone.
SOLD AS SEEN. Makes for a near brand new very authentic useable Classic with only 500 miles, so nearly run in. A typical Land Rover registered tax class as Histiric Vehicle, there is no road tax to pay on this vehicle. Will be sold with full MOT. Perfect for the beach and the hills.
