This 2CV was restored in 2018 to a very high standard. Originally from the area south of Rouen. The chassis was in such good original condition that it didn’t need to be changed. I bought this car from a friend who looked after it meticulously. Engine was rebuilt under his ownership with all accompanying receipts. I’ve added a set of new Michelin 125 R 15 tyres and the car has front and rear indicators sympathetically fitted for driving under modern traffic conditions. I have loads of photos and a folder of receipts. Its most recent appearance was at the Bromley Pageant, you may have even walked past it. These early cars are becoming rarer every day, so if you want one that you won’t have to spend a fortune on, get in touch with me. I’ve always had a soft spot for this type of vehicle, I’m particularly amazed at the bold engineering of Andre Citroen with this small air cooled engine design that dates back to the 50’s or further and still does around 60 mpg. It has great bodywork and very easy to dismantle.
