My 2002 Renault Avantime 2. 0 Turbo is surplus to my requirements as i bought it in February last year and have not used it in the last 16 months of ownership, so to make sure it was all ok for the new owner i took it for an MOT which it failed unsurprisingly having been stood so long but I have had all the necessary work carried out and it has 12 Months MOT until 4th June 2024, please check on the dvla website for details of work completed.
Finished in the stunning Nocturne Purple metallic paintwork with black half leather seats.
She polishes up well but there are stone chips and a low down scuff behind the passenger door which might not be visible in the photos with reflections but they are there.
The interior has the usual sticky switchgear and storage compartment covers but the half leather seats and dashboard are all ok.
It has covered 152360 miles from new with various receipts for work carried out over the years, I believe the Timing belt & Pulleys, cooling system pipes, heater matrix, battery, sump gasket and wiper blades were replaced by Sandy Burnett (the font of all knowledge for Avantime work and repairs if needed) in early 2020.
ULEZ compliant for those that travel into the ever expanding clean air zones
The electric windows all drop as they should with the Grand Air button but the roof doesn't seem to want to move at the moment, but i can hear the motor moving so hopefully it will just need checking to see if the channels are clear and then helped along with the proper lubricant as it worked fine upon purchase.
To sum up you are looking at a running/ driving Avantime with 12 months MOT that can be enjoyed as is then tinkered with as and when time/ funds allow.
