This 2009 Renaultsport Megane R26. R is finished in Gris Makaha over Nimbus Grey, a rare colour combination with only a handful in the UK. It has covered 50, 946 miles, comes with a full service history and 12 months' MOT, and is sold with all three keys and has four previous keepers on record.
The car has been lightly modified to enhance the driving experience: a Milltek stainless exhaust, short-shift linkage, and an RS Tuning remap giving a reliable 260bhp. New OEM discs and pads were fitted all round on 8 July 2026 as part of our preparation, and before that, a fresh set of Toyo R888 tyres. An additional pair of 18-inch wheels and tyres is included.
This particular R26. R was optioned with climate control, while a discreet aftermarket Pioneer head unit adds Bluetooth connectivity and satellite navigation. The original stereo is also included.
Only 364 examples of the planned 450-unit R26. R were built, of which 159 made it to the UK. A 123kg weight saving, revised suspension and semi-slick tyres contributed to a record 8:17 Nürburgring lap time and drew comparisons with dedicated sports cars from Lotus and Caterham on launch. The limited-slip differential and four-point harnesses remain a highlight for anyone who has driven one, giving direct feedback to the driver.
