Description
This 'matching numbers' BMW R100 was built in July 1979 but not registered here in the UK until March 1981. It is a decent bike that clearly will not win any beauty contests but it does appear to be mechanically very sound indeed and is more than presentable. It really does ride very nicely. It is fitted with the 'S' nose fairing but the time clock and voltmeter in the fairing do not work. Everything else appears to work as it should including the charging. The red light that flashes on at idle is the charging warning light that many confuse with the oil pressure warning which it is not and it is perfectly normal for these machines for it to flash on at idle. Genuine BMW Panniers are with it. Metal eating 'mouse' has clearly been at the nearside fins as can be seen in the video. Great value big BMW Airhead Boxer; Trade.
