Ford Escort Mk4 1989
One family owner from new. Purchased in 1989 by my mother in law. Used as a daily driver, sale will have a 12 month MOT.
Fitted with mk5 1. 3 HCS engine and 5 speed gearbox at 128k, excellent oil pressure (gauge fitted)
This car has been welded when needed, maintained without an eye to cost. New wings fitted, rear arches professionally repaired, along with sills.
Oil and filter changes every 3000 miles, oil cooler fitted. Averages 44mpg with some motorway use.
Interior is a bit tired, doorcards need attention (replacement ones available).
Many spare parts available, including front struts, rear wishbones and steering rack all purchased just in case. The original engine and gearbox is also available should this be needed.
The car is fitted with a 50mm ball tow bar. This is great for using a small box trailer and clip on cycle rack. Price reduced.
