Description
Finished in Tonga Green with light tan leather interior and no window tints, this is surely the ultimate colourway for a Range Rover! Perfectly at home on the farmyard or outside Chatsworth House!
The overall condition of the bodywork is reasonable - there is a scuff on the front bumper and minor corrosion to the rear wheel arches inside the door closure as per almost all L322s. The tailgate and rest of bodywork, however, is pretty smart. The alloys are in good order, though for the asking price I will include 5x wheels of the same style which have just been refurbished.
Since the photos were taken I have replaced the supercharged style grille with the standard items as I think they look a bit more fitting, though the others can be included if the buyer wishes. Also included in the sale are 2x new front fog lights and a pair of mud flaps for non-side step cars, as the ones fitted have the cut out for steps.
The interior is in excellent condition, minor wear to the drivers seat is the only notable consideration, though the plastic part around the seat controls which are usually all smashed up is in perfect condition. If I was keeping the car I would have had the drivers seat re-coloured. It is not holed and is still supremely comfortable! The Range Rover drives extremely well, it has been maintained with no expense spared by the previous owner (of ten years) and myself. I bought the car with a failed transmission and had this repaired by Birch 4x4 in Liverpool, who warrant the transmission until April 2024. I have done 6k miles since the rebuild and it is perfect.
Other recent expenditure includes: front struts/ air bags, replacement AC condenser, headlight refurbishment, service and fresh MOT. In total I have spent almost £3k on making the Range Rover completely serviceable.
I have done numerous long trips in the car, it has towed my car trailer and is an excellent, reliable vehicle. I am only parting with it as it has become surplus to requirements. It needs someone to finish off the minor cosmetics but is a great car, unlike most of the knackered deferred maintenance cases that are aging L322s.
I would trust the Range Rover to take me anywhere in comfort and when recently discussing the not inconsiderable mileage (just shy of 173k) with an old pal, his response was “well it must be a good car then!”
I think so.
