Here's my UVA Fugitive II based on a 1970 VW Sandy as we call her as she's a SandRail ...
I have owned for 8 1/ 2 years and loved in, in that time I have made quite a few changes. As you can see in camo wrapped, also matt black and olive green paint. Running a 1641 with twin Kadrons, these have been set properly and Sandy runs sweet as. Has cannons (these have been modified to pass by the carbs) then wrapped to insulate. Sounds loud - no doubt, ear plugs on the highway :-)
Has new clutch, battery, alternator, plugs, points, rotor, dizzy cap, condenser. MOT about a month ago, even tho it's historic I have it MOT'd no advisories. Radio works, center kill switch for safety - front fogs, rear fogs etc. etc. etc.
Great fun, turns heads everywhere it goes, only seen 3 others in the South of England since I had this and they were all at Beach Buggin in Southsea. Any test trial inspection welcome. Everything works as it should... Just reducing my collection. V5 and a key too :-) The registration BUG 101 - will not come with it - it will return to WYS 525J...
