Description
Supacat is a six wheeler cross country vehicle able to carry a ton or more in adverse ground conditions ; steep slopes, rough ground, bogs, sand and snow are within it's capabilities. For deep snow or very soft bogs , tracks can be used which fit over the tyres without modification to the vehicle , it can also float with a limited load
Winches, cranes or other handling equipment can be fitted. Ramps may be carried under the wings and are used , in conjunction with a winch , for self loading or bulky objects or for ditch crossing
Engine 1. 6 Volkswagon Diesal very frugal on consumption , driving through automatic transmission (torque converter and three speed gear box) The three wheels each side are positively driven together so no matter how uneven the ground may be, whatever wheels are in contact with it are driven
Steering is hydraulically actuated on the front and middle wheels and skid steering is also provided , by actuating the individual brakes by means of the handlebars

This vehicle made for electricity industry , principally for patrolling transmission lines in difficult country or where other vehicles cause damage to crops , the steering and low pressure tyres make it particularly suitable for this duty. In forestry it is used for access and transport for men and materials and also for extraction of thinnings where other vehicles cannot go
These vehicles have been used in mountain transport for the film industry , for adventure rides in country parks , the military open platform vehicles have been used globally , this lends itself to Landowners , woodland , leisure and shoot organisers , capable of carrying 8 people , back support and bench seats are fitted
Only 410 hours, excellent condition , civilian use vehicle , Back in the 80’s the vehicle would have been £50, 000 – £60, 000 depending on specification, today based on a single build it would 120k + this super quality vehicle is now super value

Exterior has been taken back to bare aluminium by hand NOT using any abrasive sanding products, the only one that exists with a full hard top , could be used for many purposes , will go anywhere
Road registered with V5, you can polish the body for the ultimate pimped shoot vehicle or put back to the original orange when it was new as a vehicle used by the welsh electricity board possibly hand paint green for woodland and estate use
This vehicle is the 2nd Supacat MK2, bought by the Welsh electricity board (spent most of it's life in buildings unused hence the 410hours
its now used regular and running sweet
Supacat Ltd was a very small company, they made an agreement with Fairey Engineering Ltd, so they could manufacture the military contract
