1954 Volkswagen Beetle U. K. rhd car.
Here’s my patina black rag top oval. It’s started life as a black U. K. rhd oval. Then over the years went to Belgium where they fitted a 2 fold rag top clip in it. It has been done well and been in there for many years so has matching patina now. The paint is some original and some touch up but blends well with good patina. The body is extremely solid. Correct wings, ribbed doors, 4 tab bonnet , wide spring decklid and correct aprons. All the inner arches and underneath has been detailed. It has been gone through all new brakes steering arms and shock absorbers. It has a new wiring loom fitted. Still 6v. It is running a slightly later 30hp motor which starts and runs well. Split case box that goes through the gears great. The interior is mostly original. I have had the seats repaired and left as much as I can original fabric in there. It’s sitting on a set of 15 inch patina smoothies with Cross plys.
