Rare opportunity to acquire a GT6 Mk 1. Good example of this car, I have owned it for 8 years but recent purchase of another classic car forces a reluctant sale.
It has been the subject of a restoration prior to my ownership and still has the original Mk1 engine. During my ownership I have fitted a D Type overdrive gearbox with a 3. 63 differential so it cruises at 3000rpm at 70 mph. Canley Classics rear swing spring conversion. LED indicators and brake lights. Full set of stainless steel bumpers.
Some of the paintwork is now tired, particularly the roof panel where the paint is thin in places, although it still polishes up well. No significant corrosion, a little on the B post tops and the seam below the tailgate where it meets the rear valance, images attached of the main areas.
I have had a lot of fun with this car and will be sad to part with it. Much admired by other classic car enthusiasts, This is a great opportunity for someone to acquire a hard to find classic.
