BMW 635d Sport Coupe - E63
Possible swaps of equal value. Sport - Sapphire Black Metallic Coupe, with matching Dakota Black Leather Sport Interior. 135k miles, with decent service history to back it up. Brand new MOT as of July 10 2023, one advisory for noise on drivers side rear wheel (car never gets used, check MOT for mileage) which was a bit of rust from inside the handbrake drums which cleared on the way home. Reason for limited use was I had to surrender my license due to a bleed on the brain and a seizure. 2x New turbos (with receipts for work at 1800. 00) less than 2k miles ago. Car is completely standard, interior is immaculate (WITH CUPHOLDER!) bodywork has a few small stonechips to the front, but other than that, is all good. Up to date SatNav disc. Comes with 2 keys and full paperwork pack. Has TV DVB pack so it actually still works and picks up channels. Had 2 new rear tyres in December 2020, less than 4K on them, fronts were replaced earlier this year so less than 500 miles on them. 4 matching Nankangs. Regularly achieves 48-50mpg on a motorway run. No error codes, no fault lights, it's been perfect during my ownership, other than the turbos which were replaced with new OEM, not rebuilt units Pipercross air filter element less than 4 months ago. Not much to say, a very tidy car, with the renowned 3. 0 6 cylinder twin turbo diesel M57 engine, known for their bullet proof nature, the only weak spot for these engines can be the turbos due to a blocked oil feed (thanks to BMW’s extended servicing). The turbos (well, actually large turbo) did fail on mine, but as I was already paying the labour to change one it made sense to change both. These are not re manufactured units, they are OEM new units and were fitted less than 2k ago.
With the fresh MOT, new front tyres and very good rear tyres, this really is a car that won’t need anything other than fuel for the next year.
For the sake of transparency, there is one fault code showing which is the oil level sensor. This has never bothered me as I prefer using the dipstick, not iDrive, and I don’t fancy paying for a complete oil change to fit a £14 part. I will include a new replacement which you can have fitted when it suits you.
