I've lovingly owned this car for 10 years now, but with the arrival of my first child I'm having to let it go. I'm not going to have time to drive or and look after it any more. I'm the third owner. I bought it privatelyfrom someone who had also recently had a first child.
It has an MOT in July next year. As of 1 Jan 2024 it will also be excempt from MOT, road tax and ULEZ.
Generally the car is in very good condition. It drives very well. All work has been done by a Porsche specialist, RGA in Vauxhall. The battery box has been repaired following rust (a common issue with 944s). The car had an engine rebuild in 2021 following damage caused by a cam belt failing. Since then it has been in excellent condition.
The paint work is generally good, with a couple of marks on the bonnet and rear left, and some fading on the roof.
The front seats are both in ok/ poor condition. There is some cracking on the dash. It's been one of the best decisions I ever made buying this car. It brought me so much joy. Every time I pop up the lights it gives me a childish thrill. You won't regret it. I feel stupid selling out now just as its increasing in value, but it needs to be driven more regularly than I'm now able to.
