Regrettably for sale is my stunning Curlew.
Having owned this car for nearly two years I've enjoyed every moment. Turning heads wherever she goes and create crowd when parked up.
The car benefits from having a full and very thorough engine rebuild and now covering just over 100 miles and at a cost of over £4000. This included a crank crack test, balanced and re-ground. White metalling was carried out to the con-rod big ends. The entire engine has been proffessionally vapour blasted and new parts fitted where necessary. The cylinder pots have had there valves re-ground and correctly painted to give the engine bay it's original look.
The brakes have also been totally rebuilt and only covered some 90 odd miles and stop on a sixpence.
The bodywork is in very good order and looks superb in its two tone colour. The green leather interior smells as good as the day it left the factory and is in very good order. Complimenting the car is it's full working sunroof for open top motoring.
Chromework is original and in very good order.
The radiator manometer works like a treat and sits at halfway on a journey. Windscreen opens like it should and gives a lovely cool breeze on a hot day.
All four tyres are brand new as are the tubes.
The car benefits from having a bespoke new aluminium coolant radiator and an electric fan should the British climate get very hot .
In all this car is a very attractive, beautiful car that turns heads wherever it goes as well as being a joy to drive.
This car is very much for sale regrettably as I've been offered another car that I've waited 3 years for. With that said, I'm in no rush to sell my little Curlew and feel the asking price is a bargain for its next owner.
With the car comes boxes of spares from engine parts, gearbox parts as well as axle casings etc etc
The car has been in regular use since the full engine rebuild and has now been used as the star car in a recent movie which will soon be at the cinema.
