For Sale 1994 Audi 100 2. 5 TDI AAT 6 Speed with factory detachable towbar £2, 750. 00
This is a reluctant sale of my Audi 100, 5 cylinder DIesel. After nearly 15 years of ownership. I purchased this car in Edinburgh in September 2008, as a dog car for my Newfoundland, so the interior is not the cleanest and doggy, when purchased the car was on 129k it is now on 269k. The car has been very reliable, one major fault at 164k Diff failed which involved a gearbox rebuild and replacement clutch.
Clutch has been replaced on two other occasions last time at 218k Have changed cambelt and clutch 3 times in my ownership.
Numerous parts were changed to A6 c4 by Jonathan. A C4 Geru (Bladerunner) at J29 as he recommended these as superior. This includes Cambelt gear, Oil Pump, Engine mounts and Dash – Clocks(mileage is correct to vehicle)
The front disc’s, calipers and pads are vented 2. 8 petrol, always had regular oil and filter changes.
In 2016 the rear subframe / axle and front struts were removed blasted and powder coated.
Other recent works include Front & Rear shock Absorbers replaced with Monroes, Front & Rear discs and pads, New Alternator, New Starter, reconditioned fuel pump at 195k which was also last cambelt change so over due now. Has a DAB radio Inc hands free, rear parking sensors, 4 nearly new uniroyal rainexpert 5
Bad parts :- some rust on n/ s front strut top and o/ s lower rear window surround(see photos)
Also ABS warning light comes on at over 63 mph but resets on restarting engine so assumed to be wiring/ sensor.
MOT 18th October 2023 will do my best to MOT before end of August if time allows, as moving house at this time Happy for viewing but car WILL NOT be available until 26th August as it is required.
Comes with various spare parts, car is over 29 years old in every day use, therefore not immaculate.
Location – Gloucestershire close Michaelwood Services M5 Junction 14This car was the first Volkswagen or Audi TDI DIesel . The first owner of the car took delivery 0n 25 March 1994 from Abercromby Audi ( now Stirling Audi) reg number H20 CUR . The second owner from Falkirk purchased the car at exactly 3 years old on 41k. Who after speaking to him, Used the vehicle for long trips for work near Thurso in the far North of Scotland. As an engineer, the car was meticulous maintained . He sold the in May to 2007 at 121k, to a painter and decorators in Edinburgh who used it as a van! I rescued the car on the 16 September 2008 at 129k. After flying up from Bristol to drive it home. On that drive it did nearly 60 mpg. Which it will still do today on motorway journeys. I have spent Thousands over the last 15years keeping to vehicle up together.
