Mugello Cars Ltd are pleased to offer for sale this beautiful 1967 Brabham Formula 2 Works Car, BT23/ 3 driven by the legendary Australian Formula 1 driver Frank Gardner.
The car has been fully restored with only test hours on the 1600cc Fuel injected FVA Engine and FT200 Gearbox, presented in period Brabham Racing Green with gold livery, new seatbelts and new fire suppression system.
Suitable for the International Historic Formula 2 Series it comes complete with a brand-new Historic Technical Passport.
The cars history is impeccable. It was driven by Frank Gardner who finished second in the 1967 European Formula 2 Series missing out to Jacky Ickx recording 33 points and 1 Win and numerous placings.
The car was then sold and raced in the 1968 European Formula 2 series by the Swiss driver Xavier Perot. Brabham - BT 23/ 3 has over 100 recorded races.
