Description
Here offered for sale is a gorgeous BMW 630i sport with the earlier, more reliable N52 engine.
This example is especially rare thanks to its 6 speed manual gearbox making for a more engaging drive.
This example is presented in the lesser seen carbon black which looks dark blue in the sun over a full black leather interior.
Spec on this example includes DAB radio, phone prep with Bluetooth, sport seats with added lumbar adjustment, Pro navigation, tinted windows and sports trim which includes shadow line window surround, larger 19 inch alloys and of course the sports seats.
This example has been fastidiously maintained and it was actually owned by a BMW specialist who had been right though the car to make sure she was driving as new.
The car currently has an MOT with no advisories (albeit short) but a fresh 12 months will be added before sale.
The car comes with a full service history boasting 12 services on record and has a large wad of invoicing to support the cars maintenance regime.
Within the last year the car benefits from:
Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres all round
New rocker cover gasket
New oil filter housing gasket
New drive belt, tensioner and idler pulley
Vanos solenoids replaced
Upgraded discs and pads all round
Control arms replaced
Coolant flange replaced
Power steering reservoir replaced and power steering fluid flushed
Boot struts replaced
Gear knob replaced for a genuine BMW part
Full service
Wheel refurb
I can also report there is no hydraulic lifter tick which again these N52s seem to suffer with
Clutch is good
HPI Clear
2x keys
Original book packs, toolkit and first aid kit.
The car presents clean for the age and mileage showing only a few stone chips, the odd scratch and general wear and tear on both interior and exterior but nothing to be unexpected for a car with just over 130k on the clock.
If you’re after a 6 series with a manual box, there’s not many options out there. At the time of writing there was only one other example on auto trader available making these models a very rare beast indeed.
The 6 series model is a highly regarded grand tourer well suited to autobahn stints, but when you get into the twistys the autos could never deliver the driving pleasure a manual box equipped one could. It’s a lot of car for £4850
