Recent expenditure by myself:
1 - Engine oil and AM filter with correct Mobil 1 grade oil, genuine air filters x2 and fuel filters x2. Feb ‘24. (Previous oil and filter change Feb ‘23.)
2 - Complete air con overhaul and re-gas.
New evaporator. £2, 000 (dash has to be removed which is why most people don’t fix it) photos to show extent of the work.
(New condenser also previously fitted by Bamford Rose prior to my ownership. £1, 683.) A rare db7 with fully functioning climate air con - a must as the car will either mist up in the cold or you’ll cook in the cabin behind that V12 spoiling the entire experience.
3 - New radiator, new coolant, rear brake pipes and new brake fluid. Rear callipers overhauled Feb ‘23. (£1807) New rear pads May ‘24
4 - Gear box service, new oil, gasket and filter. Alternator reconditioned by Synergy £730. New heavy duty battery and route checked and tested from alternator to battery, charging correctly.
5 - New spark plugs, induction inlet manifold gaskets and 12 ignition coils replaced. All new engine pipe work and flexi hoses replaced with superior grade material. They all perish with age regardless of mileage. £2, 200.
6 - New differential oil and new power steering fluid. Handbrake adjusted and new inboard shoes fitted.
As a result of the above work all fluids and filters have been changed. Drive train maintenance is complete and the car is driving very nicely.
