1993 Mercedes 190E Automatic - Bornite metallic. 138500 miles.
I've owned this car since October 2020.
The owner previous had done lots of work on it as detailed below;
All rear suspension links replaced
All 4 rear subframe bushes replaced
All 4 suspension coil springs replaced
New front shock absorbers
New front wishbones
New control arm bushes
New track rod ends
New steering damper
New handbrake cable
New brake line front to rear
New front discs and pads
New rear brake shoes
New distributor and rotor arm
New HT leads
Since then I've had it serviced four times and last week it had new front discs and pads front and rear too.
138, 500 miles or thereabouts as it's in use all the time. MOT until 20 December.
Sills were welded at the back ends in prior to my ownership and seem to be holding well. Jacking points all good.
Door cards are all good apart from nearside rear which is lifting a bit at the back edge.
I've put new front wings on. Colour match is good to the doors but the bonnet has faded over time and looks a little lighter than the wings. The offside rear arch has some fading from a previous bit of paint too. The rear screen area is a weak point on these - driver's side is fine but it's starting to look scabby on the passenger side, no leaks though.
The diff is a bit whiny on overrun at higher speeds. Heater blower likes to give a little squeak now and again.
The photos really do flatter it though - it's tidy enough and gets lots of positive attention but it has 30 years' worth of little scratches etc.
There's no old service history unfortunately but receipts for the suspension/ ignition parts and all of the work done in my ownership are present.
