MOT to 29 Feb 2024.
Now very rare, 1 of only 6 on the road in the U. K.
I recommissioned this car after it had been off the road for 8 years. It has had lots spent on it to get it road-worthy including: full service, engine oil and filter, cam belt and bearing, aux belt, air filter, new starter motor and battery. New inner drive shaft gaiters and gearbox oil, fresh antifreeze and electric fan switch. All new brakes: front, rebuilt calipers with pistons and seals, new hoses, brake discs and pads. Rear: new brake cylinders, drums, shoes, pipes and flexi hose. New rear damper bushes, gear linkage bushes. Front and rear wiper blades. New Toyo tyres all round, plus lots of other bits & pieces. 2 sets of keys.
It now drives extremely well. The odometer shows 24, 000 miles, which judging by the general condition and MOT history, could well be correct, but I have no service history to confirm it.
Excellent chassis, no welding on the floors, solid sills and rust free tailgate. On the downside, both doors are rusty at the bottom, but I do have a good drivers door to go with the car and I know where there is a good passenger door.
Paintwork: has been resprayed in the past, now showing signs of age, but still respectable.

This would make an excellent first classic car, economical to run and easy to work on. No complicated electronics!
