Original sunbleached patina paint still shines and super solid with no rot at all present just a few paint rust blisters which have been ACF50 treated , the interior is a little scruffy but all there and the crumbly sun dried out front carpet has been replaced with matting as has the trunk carpet.
The fake wood panelling is sunbleached and could be improved with lacquering or varnishing but I like it just as it is .. original .
The sagging headlining has been resecured and does the job, drivers seat vinyl quite cracked .
The Cologne V6 starts and runs nice and the C4 3speed auto box works well …it’s a fun easy car to drive even the original factory radio works as does the aircon but could use a re gas.
It has been decatted and a new carb fitted as well as new rear shock absorbers , rear brake overhaul , vacuum system overhauled , new power steering pump fitted , the two small areas of front floor that damp underlay corrosion had got at have been professionally repaired with new metal and look superb and I have also had a set of 14” Fox Mustang bolted style Alloy wheels with brand new tyres fitted which improve the handling and stance, I will include the original 13” Rostyle wheels ( pictured ) with almost new tyres in the sale for those preferring originality .
It has a set of America style plates fitted which I like but I also have a pair of Uk legal size to include .
Has a handy factory roof rack which looks real cool with the surfboard on especially with those pop out side windows.. a great summer fun car or practical American daily .
I honestly love the car but my missus hates its lovely Daytona yellow paint and Caramac vinyl interior and im fed up her moaning about it.
I want £8900.. jump in it and drive it home and id maybe even contemplate a swop or a part ex off you.
