2003 Mini Cooper S pre-facelift model with just 44600 miles recorded from new.
Like the original cooper S these early cars will be the ones to be most sort after in years to come.
So very rare chance to purchase a mint example of the original R53 Mini hot hatch, with exceptionally low mileage.
This car has lead a cherished life over the last few years, having been garaged for the last 3 years with very occasional use, so we have lightly re-commissioned it, with a full service, front end strip down to service and check the supercharger, while there we also replaced the cooling fan resistor as a well known point of weakness in the cooling system, the CPS o ring was also replaced and the engine cleaned.
On reassembly the gear box mounts, inlet manifold and engine mount were refitted after having been shot blasted back to their original shinny finish. The coolant was replaced and cooling system checked, a full 420grams of air con gas was injected, which now results in a ice cold flow of air in the cabin.
The seats have had both tilt wires replaced, so both seats now move properly to allow access to the rear seats.
Both the exhaust system and brake discs and pads have recently been replaced.
The condition of this car can only be described as outstanding / mint, with only a couple of small stone chips to bonnet/ bumper. The paint work has a deep sparkle within the original dark silver paint colour offset by the gloss black door mirrors and roof, which contains the sort after panoramic sunroof option.
The car will be sold with professionally refurbished OE silver wheels as shown
The ½ leather interior shows little wear and tear as would be expected for such a low mileage car. Plus just fitted with new OE originalMini overmats.
The car is fitted with the option of the multi function steering wheel giving radio controls and the very useful cruise control on the spokes.
Cars like this do not come along very often and would make a great addition to any modern classic car collection or a fantastic car to take along to car shows.
