The stereo is a Panasonic Radio CD not the Ford ECU1 radio/ cassette which seem to be £50-£100 on Ebay.
The 4 way speaker stick works.
Supplied by Endeavour Ford in Brighton on 12th November 1984 to Mr M Shoesmith.
40 years old next year so it’ll be road tax and MOT exempt.
Service history is fairly typical of the type.
FSH to 10 years old/ 67241 miles then there is a gap.
Starts again at 93, 120 miles in 2011 then 95, 430 miles in 2015.
It was previously owned by Granada Owners Club Members Jason Blackford and Manny Gill.
Looks like Jason spent a lot on it around this time including a bare metal repaint with all trim removed in 2014 at the Ford main dealer Malcolm Waite Ltd.
Jason also had the alloys refurbished in 2018.

Tracking done 3 times until I was happy
4 Tyres are a third worn tread wise/ some outer cracking with age.
Spare tyre is new with jack in place.
Leather is ok with a few little cracks …so choice is ‘patina’ or ‘re-connolise’.
If I was keeping it I would prefer it connolised.
So it has a lot of equipment:
The 4 electric windows, electric sunroof and electric seats work.
The aerial is a newish manual one.
When new they were electric so that needs doing or live with the manual one.
The stereo/ air-con/ heater/ trip computer all work.
All the other controls work.
All the interior lights work bar the sun visor and one rear one.
The electric mirrors don’t work electrically so that needs doing.
Under that Granada dash cover there are a couple of cracks in the top of the dash as appears to be standard on nearly every 80’s Ford’s.
Oh the air con works perfectly and is re-gassed so ice cold.
I’m really really fussy and like everything to work on old cars as best I can.
It’s an extremely nice car, I won’t say the best in the world as I haven’t seen everybody else’s but it’s the best one I’ve ever seen since sitting in a brand new one at the 1984 Motor Show.
I’ve got loads of more expensive cars than this Granada but this one is insane regarding the amount of people who want to come and comment on it in a friendly way.
You guys probably get that anyway but quite a few seem to know about the Ghia X part and some the Executive.
They absolutely love it.
I have to make a decision whether to keep it stashed as part of a bigger collection or sell now it’s running right to someone who will go to the Granada events/ motor shows etc with it and most of all use it regularly so the central locking/ electric windows etc don’t get ‘lazy’ and the car runs smoother and smoother the more it’s used.
It deserves to be seen and I struggle to find time to do Aston Martin (my favourite cars) events. I don't think you'll find a genuine fuel injected Executive in this colour with such a low mileage, low ownership in this condition anywhere else.
It's the best spec possible for a Granada.
So buy it!
