For sale is my Renault Wind 1. 6L VVT Dynamique S.
The car has just had a major service with no action items and also now has new tyres all round (not budget tyres!).
This car is considered one of the higher spec models, so comes with pretty much all the kit, including cruise control, climate control, leather seats and steering wheel and the all important heated seats so you can still put the top down in the colder months.
The car has full service history and only has 22, 700 miles on the clock, which may go up slightly. Other than the wheel colour (which may be divisive, but can be changed relatively cheaply!), the car is pretty much completely standard.
In terms of issues, mechanically there's nothing, it's had 2 clean MOTs under my ownership and it's been complete trouble free motoring for me the last 2 years and 15, 000 miles. It has had the cambelt changed once in its lifetime so far and had a new battery in 2020.
Cosmetically there are a few small stone chips to the paint on the front end, but other than that it's really tidy for a 13 year old car in my opinion. I bought the car from a trader 2 years ago and since then it has had multiple deep cleans and the car has always been waxed to protect the paintwork.
I also have a pair of factory mud flaps (photographed) that came with the car but I removed them as I prefer the look without.
The car will not come with the private registration - the original reg is WF60 ZDG. I bought the car as a super low mileage example and I couldn't turn the offer down when it came up for sale at 11 years old with 7, 000 miles on the clock. It drove like new and still does to be honest.
The car sounds great, it shares the same engine and exhaust system as the RenaultSport Twingo 133 so it packs a punch and sounds amazing with the roof down.
The Wind is already rare as it is but the grey colour is also one of the rarer with only 36 in the UK (according to howrareismycar. co. uk) so I can truthfully say I have never seen another car the same as this on the road.
I am a big fan of this car (and Renault in general, I have 2 more), so it has been well looked after, it has only been hand washed in my ownership so the paint is looking great and I never use budget tyres, so it grips to the road brilliantly.
