Offered for sale is my 1997 Renault Clio 1. 2 RL Versailles. Purchased this lovely Clio a few months ago from its long-term owner in London, who bought the car from his local Renault main dealer in 1999! This great little survivor and classic Renault is now ready for a new home. Good bits include a fairly recent service, new Bosch wiper blades front and rear, new battery and N/ S/ R tyre, plus a FULL 12 months MOT until September 2024. The car drives really well, with a nice smooth engine and gearbox, and no squeaks, knocks or rattles. Not so good bits - A few patches of lacquer peel and some minor dents/ scratches across the bodywork, as well as a missing plastic side moulding, but nothing unexpected for a 26 year old London car. There is some slight fading to the paintwork on the nearside, but this is easily rectifiable with a machine polish. The passenger door mirror adjuster doesn’t work, but the mirror glass can still be adjusted from the outside of the car. Overall, a perfect starter/ modern classic and retro runabout, full of back to basics French charm. Any questions feel free to ask. No timewasters. Located in Southampton SO31, £1250.
