Description
Ford F-100 'Bullnose'. Historic taxation class so no MOT, free road tax and ULEZ compliant. Has been used as a daily driver and runs well, with remarkably good fuel consumption for a 5-litre straight six - the 'bullet-proof' stock engine for this model. I've had it since it was imported and have been right through it, replacing waht needed replacing when it needed it, so its had many new parts including power steering pump, starter motor, fuel tank, lines, pump and filter, carburettor, clutch, exhaust etc. etc - have all the recipts from NAMCO American, who've done all the work and servicing. Still has a valid MOT, (not that it needs it now). Has UK tow-hitch and wiring. I gave it a re-spray as when I got it it had the patina many like, but it wasn't for me - matched to the orginal paint colour. Here's the issues - There are a few superficial patches of rust popping through the re-spray now, but very minor and I have some paint if you want to give it a quick rub down and re-spray. There's a few places of wear in the cab on the seats, but these are minor, too., and could be easily repaired / re-stitched. One sun visor, (passenger-side), needs replacing and there's a bit of minor damage to the speaker grid in the dash. Apart from that, its all good to go and is a lovely driver. This pick-up gets positive comments, thumbs-ups and heads turning every time I drive it. Its easy to drive and has great load space in the back (8ft long). Its a no-brainer if you need to go into the M25, as its ULEZ compliant and has 3 seatbelts for its bench seat. It pulls off good and tows easily. All round lovley pick-up truck!
